New Arrivals! Emma Has Black Ewe and White Ram
These little ones are just too cute. They were born on Sunday, February 12th. It was sooo cold that day! Here are their first photos. It was really early in the morning. I wrapped them in towels and dried them off. I spent most of the morning drying them off–I was frozen solid by noon. It’s amazing out much body heat those tiny lambs can aborb.
Lambs always seem to be born on the coldest days of the year.
Wonderful, Brave Black Ram for Sale
Meet Paddington! Paddington is a very brave little lamb. He’s full of energy and is already showing the other sheep who’s in charge. He loves to run and play! He has a white-spot on his neck—it’s becoming less noticeable as he grows.
He’s about 3-month-old, born on February 21, 2011. His mother is Emma, and his father is Whitman. He and Teddy are twin brothers. Old sheep are registered with the Old English Southdown “Baby Doll” Sheep Registry.
For more information, visit Paddington’s Page.
Beautiful, Tame Black Ram for Sale
Meet Teddy. Teddy is a very sweet, very tame little lamb. He was actually bottle-fed part of the time so he comes when called. When I go out to fed the sheep–He runs up and lets me give him a hug. He’s like my foster-lamb—so I want him to go to a special home! He’s turning out to be just beautiful.
He’s a twin—Paddington is his brother. He’s about 3-month-old, born on February 21, 2011. His mother is Emma, and his father is Whitman. He’s shown in the photo with his father Whitman.
He’s weaned and ready to go to his new home. He’ll make some lucky shepherd a wonderful herdshire. Our sheep are registered with Mr. Mock’s registry.

Looking for A Great Pyrenees Puppy?
My friends, Rebecca and Keith, have some beautiful Great Pyrenees puppies if you’re looking for a guard dog for your sheep. Email Rebecca (rebekahmattox@hotmail.com) for more information.
Rebecca says that some are all white and some are spotted. I don’t know which ones are male and female. Maybe Rebecca will comment with more information.
