Champagne-Ewegenie had her babies last Friday morning. They are both rams–one white and one black. They are soo cute, healthy, and happy.
We’ve just had our first lambs of the season! 2 black rams (Grayson and Trevor) and 1 black ewe (Dora). They were born 1/17/2013 and 1/18/2013. I’ll post information about each lamb as soon as I get the photos ready.
I’m sorry to all of you that have been posting comments that I have not answered. I haven’t been get email notification that a comment has been posted–so I don’t know unless I happen to check the site. I’m trying to correct the problem.
I’ve updated the 2012 Lambs Page! There are prices and information about each lamb we have for sale.
Cadburry and Snickers have had babies now. So we have 4 black rams, 2 black ewes and 1 white ram. Everybody is happy, healthy and very cute.
These little ones are just too cute. They were born on Sunday, February 12th. It was sooo cold that day! Here are their first photos. It was really early in the morning. I wrapped them in towels and dried them off. I spent most of the morning drying them off–I was frozen solid by noon. It’s amazing out much body heat those tiny lambs can aborb.
Lambs always seem to be born on the coldest days of the year.
Meet Paddington! Paddington is a very brave little lamb. He’s full of energy and is already showing the other sheep who’s in charge. He loves to run and play! He has a white-spot on his neck—it’s becoming less noticeable as he grows.
He’s about 3-month-old, born on February 21, 2011. His mother is Emma, and his father is Whitman. He and Teddy are twin brothers. Old sheep are registered with the Old English Southdown “Baby Doll” Sheep Registry.
For more information, visit Paddington’s Page.
Meet Teddy. Teddy is a very sweet, very tame little lamb. He was actually bottle-fed part of the time so he comes when called. When I go out to fed the sheep–He runs up and lets me give him a hug. He’s like my foster-lamb—so I want him to go to a special home! He’s turning out to be just beautiful.
He’s a twin—Paddington is his brother. He’s about 3-month-old, born on February 21, 2011. His mother is Emma, and his father is Whitman. He’s shown in the photo with his father Whitman.
He’s weaned and ready to go to his new home. He’ll make some lucky shepherd a wonderful herdshire. Our sheep are registered with Mr. Mock’s registry.

Rebecca says that some are all white and some are spotted. I don’t know which ones are male and female. Maybe Rebecca will comment with more information.
