Thanks so much for the compliments. The most rewarding (and hardest) part of raising baby dolls is watching the little grow up. My husband says that lambing season is the happiest time of the year! The hardest part is losing an animal. A couple of year's ago we lost a beautiful ewe to prolapse--we almost gave up. I would do it again.

It was 100 degrees most of the summer 2011 here in Georgia. They did surprisingly well. They should be sheared more than once in year is hot climates.

I am interested in Baby doll sheep. I live in Louisiana and wonder about the sheep's heat tolerance and general health maintenance. I do not want to do anything that would harm them.

My husband and I are located in Albany Ga and have been raising alpacas for 11 years. We are looking to expand into Babydoll sheep and are looking for two ewes and ram, preferably young. Do you have any lambs for sale?

Love your website and your pics! We are considering a small farm and the Olde English Babydoll sheep. My questions to you: What is the most rewarding aspect of the babydoll sheep? What is the least rewarding? Would you choose to do it again?

Thanx for your response.

Hi Rachel,

Thank you so much for your interest in our sheep! We have a couple of very tame sheep that would be prefect for you. Teddy--the black ram is bottled-fed and a very friendly little guy that would be great with children. All of the ewes will walk up to you and are very friendly.

These sheep get no more that 24" tall at the shoulders. If you'd like to visit you'll see the adult parents as a comparison. The sheep are great gentle additions to a hobby farm. The keep the grass "mowed" and don't disturb trees or bushes.

Our sheep are registered with the Old English Southdown registry and are priced according to gender and color. Also, we work with a couple of other breeders in the areas and can easily find a different gender/color variation if needed.

Black ewes are $600.00
White ewes are $500.00
Black rams are $400.00
White rams are $300.00.

We are currently offering a $50.00 discount when purchasing a pair.

Our farm is in Douglasville and you are welcome to come back and take a look at the sheep. We'd love to meet you!

Thanks

Sandy and Jim

Hi:) I was interrested in your little 2011 baby doll sheep. How much are you asking for them? How tall will they get? We have miniature horses that my homeschooled children just love. We thought of getting something else to grow our little farm. So we would be brand new to baby doll sheep. Thanks!
